IPPR debate regarding for-profit schools
Last week, the IPPR released a report arguing against allowing for-profit free schools in the UK. It was not persuasive for reasons I noted here. Rick Muir, the author of the paper, then replied to my note, mostly ignoring my critique, and misunderstanding some of it, while insinuating that I would like confirmation bias if it supports my cause. In my rejoiner today, I explain that my position remains: there is no bona fide evidence-based case against for-profit schools.
